Juicy Couture Rainbow Heart Stud's w/Sassitude

You know I love my studs! How cute are these one's by Juicy Couture?! They have so much Sassitude! I love how they are fun by incorporating the colors of the rainbow and classy at the same time. Another fun fact about me: Hearts are my favorite shape! If I can get my hands on a pair of these, I will pair them with either an all black or all white sundress. Or perhaps either a black or white top over jeans.

Elephant Sewing Kit w/Sassitude

My super talented friend made these elephant sewing kits as presents. They have so much Sassitude! She got the idea from the book, My Learn To Sew Book by Janet Barber. She cut the fabric pieces and made an instruction sheet. I love the colors my friend chose – they are so vibrant and fun! I also love the idea of gifting people things that they can feel proud of when accomplished.

American Idol w/Sassitude

Last night was Shania night on Idol. I love Shania, so I was thrilled!!! Overall I thought everyone did a really good job. I decided to go with Siobhan as my favorite of the night, who sang Any Man of Mine. I love that she chose a fun song and thought she really worked the stage and the audience!

Kate Spade iPhone Case w/Sassitude

How cute is this Kate Spade iPhone case?! It has so much whimsical Sassitude! I am one of those people that believes anything you carry (even electronics) become an accessory. I’m a Blackberry girl myself but this case almost makes me want to convert – almost. Wish they had something like this for Blackberry’s (hint, hint).

Berry Cheesecake Parfaits w/Sassitude

I love cooking and recently tried out this very simple dessert recipe. I always like to try things for myself and if it works out then make it for other people to enjoy. I also think having “go-to” easy recipes contributes to a life filled with Sassitude! This will be added to my “go-to” list of easy recipes. I scanned the original recipe and put up a picture of the one I made. It was delicious! I retyped the recipe below incase you can’t read it from the scan. The things I did differently were that I used a blender, skim milk, Mini Nilla Wafers (which I didn’t have to break), used only blueberries as my fruit and used a wine glass for presentation.

Berry Cheesecake Parfaits

Prep Time: 15min – makes 8 servings

1 pkg. (8 oz.) Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
1 ½ cups cold milk
1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) Jell-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
1 ½ cups thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping, divided
24 Nilla Wafers, coarsely chopped
1 ½ cups seasonal berries

Beat cream cheese with mixer until creamy. Gradually beat in milk. Add dry pudding mix; mix well. Whisk in one cup Cool Whip.

Layer half each of wafers, berries and pudding mixture in 8 parfait glasses. Repeat layers.

Baggu bags w/Sassitude

Happy Earth Day! In honor of Earth Day I wanted to do a post on reusable shopping bags. I have a few but have been on the hunt for some new ones – basically something a little more chic than what I currently have. I came across these stunning and vibrant bags made by Baggu bags. You can purchase them individually, or in their 3 or 5 packs. I will eventually purchase a couple of their Baggu X3, because I don’t buy groceries in bulk. They have so much Sassitude and I love how they color coordinated them!

American Idol w/Sassitude

Naturally I chose Crystal Bowersox’s performance of People Get Ready as my favorite performance of last night. I mean – could I have chosen anything else? This had so many layers of Sassitude it is ridiculous! She one hundred percent felt that song, and I felt her singing it. This is one of my favorite performances of all time on the show – ever!

Nicole and Derek’s Tango was hands down my favorite routine of the night. It was fast, precise and flowed at the same time. Their attention to detail in their movement gave this routine a lot of Sassitude! And I’ve got to give it to Derek for choreographing a stunning tango to Pretty Woman!

Bows at Any Age w/Sassitude

I for one love bows and was thrilled when InStyle did this spread in their April 2010 issue on wearing bows at any age. A lot of people equate bows with little girls. And while little girls look adorable in bows, I have always felt that grown women can look adorable in them as well (of course in a more sophisticated way).

I am loving the black & white striped Topshop top, the Prabal Gurung blouse and the Timo Weiland cardigan. The bows give all of these outfits Sassitude!

The Plaza w/Sassitude

I went to a delightful birthday party yesterday at The Plaza hotel. It’s a hotel that has a throwback Sassitude and is simply stunning! I recently finished watching season 2 of Mad Men and felt they could film in this hotel even today. We were also fortunate to enjoy a vintage jazz band that plays there every other Thursday. It was such a nice treat to feel like we time traveled back a few decades. That’s a pic of me (I’m on the far right) and my friends having a lovely time.

H&M Dress w/Sassitude

I am loving this dress from H&M. I think the fact that it’s a mini kimono style dress gives it Sassitude! I love the print and it looks like it would be so comfortable. It’s also perfect for those days when it is warm enough to wear a dress but perhaps not warm enough to wear something strapless or sleeveless. I would pair this with either black or gold heels.

American Idol w/Swagger

Last night was Elvis night on Idol. This theme seemed to have brought out the best in most of the contestants. My favorite performance was Michael Lynche’s rendition of In the Ghetto. This performance had such an understated Swagger. It is such a beautiful song and I was lost in his performance. Loved it!!!

I loved this Rhumba by Pamela and Damian! It has such Sassitude in a very elegant way. I've really been appreciating how Pamela really embraces the character of every dance. That certainly made her rhumba that much more convincing.

I love studs! They are so easy to wear on a daily basis. Most days I keep my jewelry pretty basic but lately I’ve wanted to jazz up my stud collection a bit and came across these fun ones by Betsey Johnson. They all have so much Sassitude!

The newest Sex And The City trailer is out!!! I can’t think of a better way to kick of the weekend. Talk about a movie that is going to have some serious Sassitude!!! I cannot wait! And this trailer has Aiden in it – whaaaattttt!!!

TOMS Shoes w/Sassitude

I am currently coveting these pairs of TOMS shoes. They all have an understated Sassitude to them. They seem so comfortable and would be ideal to walk around in (since I do a lot of walking). The wonderful thing about TOMS is that if you buy a pair of their shoes they donate a pair to a child in need.

FYI – Today is their One Day Without Shoes campaign. They are asking people to go barefoot to experience what life would be like without shoes. You can find out more on their website.

American Idol w/Swagger

Last night was essentially Beatles night on Idol. Overall I thought everyone kicked it up a notch which was nice to see considering the way this season started off. My favorite last night was Casey James. I thought his rendition of Jealous Guy displayed emotional Swagger. It was a side of him we have never seen and he was very convincing while emoting.

Last night my favorite routine was Evan and Anna's quickstep! This had so much Sassitude and Swagger! Chicago is one of my favorite musicals, so I loved the song. I thought the routine was a lot of fun and lively. Evan did a good job with the character and danced it very well!

Here is the third mannequin I loved that was a part of FIT’s, Pop Up Shop, The Mannequinn Speaks The Brand, exhibit. This one represented Bloomingdales. I would actually consider wearing this. Perhaps I could make my own : ) This was done by students, Gerardo Mellado and Carla Yuen.
