The Emmys 2010 w/Sassitude

Claire Danes in Armani Prive w/Sassitude

This was quite possibly my favorite look of the night. It’s simple and sparkly and has so much Sassitude! There really isn’t much to say about this dress except that it is stunning!

Julie Benz in Pamela Roland w/Sassitude

Now this dress is a perfect example of how a simple dress can have Sassitude! It’s clean and sleek but then you have the detailing on the one side of her hip, giving this dress just a hint of Sassitude! Love it!

Eva Longoria Parker in Robert Rodriguez w/Sassitude

Black dresses can pale on the red carpet especially when everyone else is glitzed out. This dress is a perfect example of how a black dress can have a lot of Sassitude on the red carpet! I love how the top is architectural and the bottom contrasts. The texture and mermaid silhouette of the bottom half of the dress gives it so much Sassitude!

Lea Michele in Oscar de la Renta w/Sassitude

This dress really could have overwhelmed Lea but it didn’t. I loved how it was simple on top and then had the angular ruffles at the bottom which gave the dress lots of Sassitude!

Hot Tea w/Sassitude

I love hot tea. In fact I usually have it once a day. It’s one of my “take time out to do something for myself rituals”. I usually enjoy it while watching tv, reading a book or writing. I haven’t been able to have it for a couple of months. It’s been too hot and humid to even think about having any. That is, until two days ago. The weather has been in the 70’s for the past couple of days which has allowed me to enjoy my beloved hot tea again. It reminded me how much Sassitude the little things add to your life in such big ways!

Haagen-Dazs five w/Sassitude

While summer might be almost over – mother nature certainly doesn’t think so. Where I live the temps are high along with the humidity. This has led me to try various flavors in the Haagen-Dazs five series. What I especially love is that they literally use five ingredients without losing out on the taste.

These are the ones I’ve tried. I’ve liked them all but my favorite so far is the lemon. I still need to try the caramel, coffee, ginger, strawberry and milk chocolate. I still have so much taste testing to do!!!

SYTYCD's Lauren w/Sassitude

Last Thursday another season of So You Think You Can Dance came to an end. I honestly loved all three finalists and would have been happy with any of them winning. So naturally I am thrilled that Lauren won! I thought she was so consistent the entire season and nailed every genre given to her. The routines that come to mind are the My Chick Bad hip hop, her Tahitian routine and that steamy tango with Pasha. I think she has so much Sassitude on and off the stage!!! I even loved how she poured Gatorade on herself during her celebration – Sassitude indeed!

Wishing her and all of the other contestants careers filled with Sassitude and Swagger!

Things From Denver w/Sassitude

About a month ago I was in Denver for vacation. It is such a beautiful city and I enjoyed my time there. I wanted to share a few of the things I purchased.

Three Wise Monkey's w/Sassitude

An Anila fun fact - I am named after the Hindu Monkey God, Hanuman.

I have always loved anything with the Three Wise Monkey's on it, so naturally I had to buy these. They are so cute and I simply love them!

Honeycomb Teacup w/Sassitude

I've mentioned before that I have a small teacup collection that is slowly growing. I thought this teacup was adorable! I bought this at Denver's Botanical Garden. I love the honeycomb detailing and the bee on the top. It is simple yet has Sassitude! I can't wait to enjoy a cup of hot tea once the weather cools down here a bit.

Sweater Boots w/Sassitude

I bought these adorable boots at the top of Pikes Peak. I love the color combo and the fact that they are so comfortable. I will use them as in-house slippers in the winter. They will come in handy for sure!

Cameo Music Box w/Sassitude

I love all things Cameo. I think anything with a Cameo motif, etc. adds instant Sassitude! It's so classic and will never go out of fashion. I love my new little music box!

Teen Choice Awards w/Sassitude

Selena Gomez in BCBGMAXAZRIA w/Sassitude

This dress is simple, yet manages to have Sassitude! The fact that the bodice of the dress is so simple really allows the sleeves (or lack there of) to pop. It’s sexy without being trashy.

Kristin Bell in Stella McCartney w/Sassitude

I love the sheerness and the soft red color of this dress. This is also a unique silhouette which gives this dress some serious Sassitude! This silhouette could have been a train wreck on someone else but it really flatters Kristin!

Ashley Greene in Valentino w/Sassitude

There are a lot of things that give this dress Sassitude! I love the contrast of the pale pink and the black embroidery at the top. Plus, the monochromatic pattern on the entire dress gives it a beautiful texture.

Blogging w/Sassitude

Hello All! I know I haven’t posted in a very long time and I apologize for that. I was very busy and my schedule did not permit it. What I learned in my blogging absence was that I absolutely love blogging and missed it dearly. I am grateful that I have developed a new passion as this certainly leads to a life filled with Sassitude!

With my rejuvenated enthusiasm I hope to improve on my blog as I continue on this journey. I always knew my blog was a work in progress and it continues to be so.
