In two weeks I will be attending a wedding that I am very excited about! Bonus – it will take place in Niagara Falls on The Maid of The Mist. So naturally, attire is something to think about.
Blue raincoats will be provided so we won’t have to worry about protective outerwear. But that doesn’t mean you should look like a hot mess – right? I’m sure there will be opportunities for photos prior to donning the raincoats.
I am thinking a summer dress would be the way to go for a female. I would go for something in the cotton family as water stains are hard to get out of silk and other materials sometimes. I’m also thinking something tea length and shorter (not too short) would be ideal so that the bottom of your dress doesn’t get soaked. Anthropologie always has the perfect summer dresses with Sassitude for an occasion like this.
For shoes I think you gotta go with nice sandals of some sort. I know I wouldn’t want to get cloth or leather shoes wet. Here are ones with some Sassitude from Kenneth Cole.
For the guys I think these short-sleeved button downs and long shorts from Banana Republic have just the right amount of Swagger.
